JUNE
Ticking Along...
Sunday 06/15/2008
Well it's been a couple of weeks since my last

post. Life has been ticking along with not a lot to tell really. My parents are still here and we've done a few things. I wrote last time about the
Seattle Mariners game and I've posted a picture this time around.
This week my parents have been to both Seattle and Bellevue on the bus and have explored all the shopping opportunities and American restaurants! I think they've almost bought everything they wanted to while they've been here. Last weekend they also got to visit Shipwreck Beads in Lacey, one of their favorite places. I know they certainly came back with a few things! Debs drove them and I managed to stay at home for the day!
Yesterday we went
Whale watching off Anacortes. It was a great day and almost immediately after leaving dock we managed to

see plenty of whales and follow them for quite some time. I didn't manage to get any decent photos (as usual) but I think you can just about tell the picture opposite contains whales! The weather also held up for us and I managed to get a little sunburnt. When we got back last night we were all tired and it was an early night for all.
Today it's Father's Day and we are all having a lazy day. Well that is except for Debs who has to work :-( Still, we both get tomorrow off work and so we'll be having a nice day off going out and about. They even predict reasonable weather which will make a nice change. It's been the coldest June on record so far since 1894! My parents want to take a harbor boat trip from Kirkland and then we're off to look at a few coffee tables. The evening will be rounded off with hosting the usual trivia quiz night at JJ Mahoney's pub just down the street. So that's it for now. Hope you enjoy the photos and next week has lots more to bring I know.
